Ah, no, In fact, there is a double-secret fund provided by the city of Sturgis, administered by the clandestine SD-MIB, aka South Dakota men-in-black, to pay certain individuals to put their shirts 'back-on'... and you know who you are. revmaaatin. SD-MIB, Sturgis is full of them starting this week

Actually, if you want to ride the Black Hills any other week than Bike Week is the time to go. Bike Week will find you stuck, creeping along behind all the motorhomes, trailer pullers and accountants playing badass for a week. I quit going 23 years ago. It was getting to be too expensive and too many "citizens" for my tastes. Hoppy

Well, sure it might be good joe, Rev, but will it out-perform SeaFoam? -doug revmaaatin wrote:

Doug, Good question. Most people ask for milk in their cappuccino, but if you show up, I'll add Sea-Foam to yours and hold the 911 Speed dial, just in case the results are less than satisfactory. revmaaatin. --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, Douglas Bouley wrote:

I have some TPro armor that came with a cheap Israeli jacket I bought several years ago. It is very stiff when new but designed to break in and ultimately very confidence inspiring. It is clearly designed to be a *lot* more durable under normal use than the corresponding Knox armor pieces, which I get thrown in for free whenever I buy something from the Australian manufacturer of Draggin' Jeans (they make jackets and pants as well). The Knox stuff is several layers of foam of different densities, scored or slit to let it flex. The Tpro stuff is some kind of very dense but flexible material at the core, with a rubber overlay that constrains how it flexes. If I hit it with a hammer, it shows much more obvious damage than, for example, an Aerostich soft pad, but also seems to absorb more force. The TPro stuff is good stuff. However, there is at least one other piece of Level 2 armor on the market -- BMW's back protector is Level 2, and, for BMW gear anyway, very inexpensive ($150). It's designed cooperatively with KTM and is supposed to be very comfortable. I will probably buy one soon.
