I agree with James. Here in Florida a pair of strategically placed grenades is the accepted method for protection against horny alligators in mating season. I think it would work on most Grizzlies, too. -- bierdo Jimmy James wrote:

If you don't use anti seize in there the heat and carbon buildup will cause major difficulties. That is why I pull each bolt and lube it every time I change the oil. If you got a new one, make sure you do this and your experience with the Supertrapp will be much more enjoyable. Also, don't over tighten the bolts. You just want them snug, because the heat of your exhaust, and the subsequent cooling, will cause the material to expand and contract. If those bolts are torqued on, the back side nuts will definitely fail. If you do have a problem, next time get the proper sized tap and rerun the threads, be sure to use dome oil as lubricant. After chasing the threads, even a JD welded nut should stay in place. I know you are probably asking, how does he know this. Well, its because I did it when I was installing my IDSII for the first time. I didn't put on enough lube and I over torqued a bolt. Supertrapp was cool about it and sent me a new unit which I haven't had a problem with for over 2k miles. Hope this helps you out. Jim Sherlock Austin, Texas
