Bob,
I looked up the snap rings for the TA/TC brake shoes. They appear to be KD
Tools, snap ring # 1000-62. I think the proper name may be "E" clip? I took
a brake back plate into my friendly bearing/seal/ supplier and we fitted a
ring to suit.

A few weeks ago you mentioned, in a discussion about the horse shoe clips
that hold the brake shoes in place, that you found the correct sized modern
spring clips. What size and who made them? I am assembling the shoes on
TC3443 now in preparation for fitting the Alfins that I recently purchased
from you.
