Brake Drum

Post by tctdtom » Tue Aug 30, 2016 6:33 am

Hey all, I am in the process of bringing an MG YT back to life.  The rear end/brake/axle assembly is very much the same as a TC.  I have fitted new rear seals, nuts wheel cylinders and brake shoes per Doug at "from the Frame Up".  All went well until I tried to put the brake drum back on.  It seems that it fits too tight against the fully retracted new brake shoes.  Is there a fix our there I am unaware of?  Thanks, Tom, TC 2850.
