IMO The most useful feature of the mirror damper is that it allows the mirror stalk to flex rather than support the weight of the bike when you drop it. and you will drop it. again. if you ride it. revmaaatin. who 'drops' more often that some parishioners show up for church "If you are not falling down, you are not riding fast enough."
