Anyone who does not use zip ties does not understand the precepts of ccklro Sean Brown Looking for the perfect gift for the wife/Mom/or "the person who has everything?" www.brownsbirdestates.com To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, July 6, 2007 3:26:12 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Re: Can the side cowling be repaired? Years ago, someone on the list suggested drilling a hole where the tab used to be and using a nylon toilet seat 'bolt' cut to fit. Seems reasonalbe, but I use the zip tie method. __Arden --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogro ups.com, "fasteddiecopeman" wrote:

de tour trip reports site removal in late july

Post by Jeff Saline » Wed Jul 11, 2007 6:00 pm

KLR Listers, Greg McKinney has hosted the De Tour reports with pictures since last winter. Thank you Greg!!! The sight hasn't had a hit in quite a while so the De Tour trip reports will be removed by the end of July. Next is a portion of the original introduction to De Tour from last winter. ***Trip reports like this always seem to be a bit better if photos are available too. KLR Lister Greg McKinney in Tennessee has graciously offered to host the photos on his server for a while. What originally began as an idea to just have images available has snowballed into a small De Tour site. Greg has spent quite a few hours setting up pages for each day, showing images, and also making the narrative available. So if you'd like to see some photos from the trip, or just can't wait for the next days trip report, go to Greg's site at: http://70.60.188.86/de_tour.htm and cruise along with us. I'll never be able to thank Greg enough for is generous offer to host the De Tour reports and photos for a while, and also for his hard work in making this available in a nice format. THANK YOU Greg! *** So folks, if you have any interest in reading about De Tour or looking at some of the pictures, July is the last month to do it. I doubt I'll ever post the reports or photos again. Thanks to everyone who shared comments with me about De Tour. It was a lot of fun planning the trip. Making the trip. And also sharing it with you. And once again, I can't say it well enough... Thanks Greg!!!
