Someone expressed the opinion that wallowing is a purely suspension issue and not tire related. Two points come to mind in this regards: 1) The term "wallow" may mean different things depending on one's definition. 2) The tires are part of the suspension and as such will influence and be influenced by the remainder of the chassis as well as by loads, forces, etc. My A18 has a wandering (according to my use of the term) tendency at higher speeds (130 kph/80mph+). The effect is typically triggered by buffeting from transport trucks but may occur at higher speeds without the buffeting wind. Someone asked if I was able to ride through the effect but I intend to get older and that experiment may not support old age. (VBG) This wandering/oscillating from side to side began with the installation of Kenda 270's but the performance of the tires in other respects is good so they have remained. I do not remember the oscillation/wander when running the Kenda rear with the stock Dunlop front. I also have no reason to ride at 130khp+ so......
