supertrapp question
Be careful with this. I looked at the home depot, and all I found was
some wool labeled "rustless", which I think was chemically treated
regular steel wool and not actually made from stainless steel. Any sort
of galvanizing or coating would burn off in the exhaust system.
Let us all know how it lasts. I ended up buying a bulk roll of stainless
wool from an industrial supply company, would have loved to only have
paid $3.00.
Plus, you need to PACK the space between the core and silencer shell.
Don't be shy with the stainless wool. It should take some force to get
the re-packed core back in, even with it wrapped onto the core using
safety wire.

supertrapp question
i think i should be able to handle that but just to make sure:
with packing i should use around 8 discs
so there is no way to not have any packing and use less discs to
compensate?

Sounds really good, but I already have my KLR- So I will pass it on. Man, I
