All I did was loosen and detached the choke cable from the bars, loosen the carb clamps and rotated the carb so the bottom faced the shifter side of the bike. (Other say pointing the other was is easier) Of course watching the cables and making sure they did'nt get in the way while twisting the carb. This seemed the best to me, so I reached in with my cordless drill and a really small bit (1/16th inch I think) that I could thread a tiny sheet metal screw into. Drilled just until it broke through. Grabbed the screw with a pair of pliers and wiggled that little suck'a out, did the adjustment screw in till she bottomed, a whole 3/4 turn, and backed it out to just under 2 full turns. Reversed everything and thumbed the starter, it still started kinda hard, but did fire quickly with about 1/2 choke then, I have since turned the screw out to about 2 1/2 turns total thats when it really got easy to start. Jake has a "How to" on his website for really hitting the sweet spot, but for now I am happy with shade under 2 1/2 turns out, no more lean surges fur sur. Dooden A15 Green Ape
