It happens to the best of us sometimes. I paid a similiar amount for ignoring a road closed sign and not obeying the traffic cones. Ticketed by the CHP (Calif. Highway Patrol). If you have admitted to your trespassing , you should pay up. If you haven't spilled the beans over the phone, I'd get a copy of the police report and take it from there. Police would need a sworn statement from the witness, and sometimes when put on the stand the witness states he really can't id the driver/vehicle for whatever reason. Police are merely acting on info that was given to them, they probably didn't witness it, they just helped track you down and decided whether or not there was sufficient evidence. I'm not an attorney but have always wanted to play the part of one on TV. Here's a different point of view. I'm reading today's story in my local paper about the local ORV park being shut down for the winter for the 1st time ever. Some bets are it will never open up again. One of the problems is erosion from "boot-leg" trails, and "a few bad apples". What's the cost of losing 35 acres of off road trails? _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com

>If there is a number on it, 8.8, 6, etc. it usually refers to what metric
size it is. I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can confirm and/or correct this information.
