I've been using the TK16 Conti/Tour and TK17 Conti/Tour on Rocinante for months now and IMO they are perfect for our weight and my riding style ( "Safely Aggressive"), these are 100% street tires bought from Dennis Kirk. You can compensate for the bike being undersprung by shifting more of your weight foreward on the bike, your going to want more weight on the front anyway if your going to ride hard in the twisties, with the good street tires you can brake much later and harder, with more weight on the front suspension before you even start to brake, there will be less front end dive and the bike will settle into your choseen line much quicker and easier.
