chain is too short!!
Hi Steve
This really becomes a safety issue. His life is not worth whatever $ might
be saved.
I had a near miss a long time ago when a pooly maintained chain snapped and
jammed between the rear sprocket and swingarm on a Honda CL305. The rear
wheel locked up and I slid across the road. No oncoming traffic so I get to
write these warnings instead of someone else telling the story. I won't even
use clip type master links on any bike over 45hp. Tell your bud to buy the
new chain.
