Ian Thomson
Greetings,
I need some help identifying a speedometer pinion gear I have. It is held
in place in the rear plate of the gearbox by the brass pinion housing. The
pinion housing is common to all T-series but the pinion gear is different
between TC and TD. The pinion gear I have has 9 teeth and is stamped AA on
the end and the brass housing is also stamped AA. Can anyone tell me if
this is TC or TD?
Thanks,
Doug Pelton

BlankHi Group,
I have a question about the door check ( 405-500) on TC7025. The stationary post is attached to the rear jam and there is a
pivot pin that swivels with the stop that is fastened to the door to keep the door in position when opened. How do I get this pivot
pin out so I can remove the door to repaint it. I don't want to remove the inner upholstered panel. What is this pin and how do I
get it out?
Thanks
