Evening all,
I noticed a thread recently about play in rear hub bearings & a comment from Roger Furneaux that some play is OK.
I've got my axle apart at the moment as a 1/2 shaft broke at the diff end splines - it was borrowed from a TC in Norway 30 years ago whilst on holiday so I can't grumble! I checked the rear hubs and there is noticeable play. How much is OK? I've addressed this to the group rather than just Roger as I thought others would be interested in any replies.
The bearings are fairly new (around 2K miles) and are I think the tapered type.
Regards,
Jeff Townsend Cambridgeshire TB0489

Hi Bud and the Group,
I have a Clipper blue car and it sure doesn't have all that blue. That blue looks a little to bright for the original. Mine is greyer. I also have biscuit on the inside. Also biscuit covered dash. The ebay car doesn't look very original.
Also Bud, I had a Metalic Blue Rayson Craft drag boat that was named: Blu-it-all
That covered many areas. Dollars-engines etc.

Gentlemen
I have found it necessary to replace nearly all the timbers on TC 5253. Has anyone had any experience with the wood offered by either Moss or Abingdon Spares? Any recommendations? Any other / better sources in the US? Any advise is gratefully appreciated.

BlankHi Craig,
Has anyone tried to run a string of led lights to light the instruments on the dash? I have a water temp gauge in the horn space
with the horn to the right of the steering wheel, which I believe was a dealer installation, and there is no lighting for this
gauge. I was thinking of buying a string of small Led lights and lighting each green opening in each gauge. Or I could place more
bulb holders and maybe put LED bulbs in them. Any suggestions?

BlankHi group'
The spreadsheet is done! There are 315 names on the list. I would like to send it to the member that has the NEMGTR data and
let him fill in his blanks and he can fill in the missing data in my data. Maybe then, this would be some help in finding some
missing owners. I need this members e-mail and name as I forgot it. Some of the dates, chassis and engine numbers don't make sense
but that is what was listed in the book.
Any suggestions as to how is best to publish this sheet so all can look at it as Yahoo doesn't allow attachments.
