TA Paint details

Hello Group,

 

I have had conflicting originality details on the color of the spare wheel carrier on the TA.  Black or body color?

 

Also the bulkhead…black or body color?

Hi Doug, I am quite sure the bulkhead was originally sort of a satin or semi gloss black.  The underside of TA 2335 was that and i am quite sure original as the top side had been painted body color.  Some research i did seemed to confirm this so now it is all satin black.  I am not sure on the carrier, i have never come across that as a question. Hi Doug, TA and TB had a satin black firewall bulkhead. I sat Satin as opposed to Gloss or a Matt finish. It has just a slight reflective sheen which a full matt would not have. The Spare wheel carriers were body colour.
