Greetings, A friend of mine is having Whitepost Restorations restore their '48 TC. At this time, the restorer poses the question; Should the aluminum oil pan be natural or engine color? Thanks, Bruce Woodson

However, in the interests of strict authenticity, these units are defined differently now than they were in 1924, and there may well have been a difference in the 8th or 9th decimal places back then. Right or wrong my oil pan will be glass beaded and left natural. I'll paint the inside with Gloptal, which you can get from the Eastwood Catalog. Bob TC4946
