I really enjoy this list and hope to persuade my wife towards the purchase of
a KLR. That having been said I have one small problem. When I try to reply to
a post my AOL addresses the mail to the sender not the group. I don't know
why, my other lists don't do this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Tim

If I do reply all it addresses to the sender and the group. Not what I'm
looking for.

You must be accessing the mail through the web site. If so... when you reply, the default (which I have no control over) is to reply to the sender... however, click on the down arrow and select the group address and you're set. If you are accessing the mail from your own e-mail server, select "reply all" as opposed to "reply". Cheers, Arne> why, my other lists don't do this. Any help would be appreciated. > > Thanks, Tim

I have not been getting the digest (or for that matter, any posts) from the
KLR list for several days. I tried to resubscribe and e-groups gave me the
run around and said I couldn't as I was already a subscriber. If I
accidentally got unsubscribed, could the list master help me get back on?
Also, could you respond back to me off list as I have no idea what is going
on. As far as I know, I did nothing to get booted off the list.
Thanks guys,
Frank Srednicki

The temp hit 90 here in Tucson yesterday and my Kimpex heated grips
arrived in the mail. In spite of the timing, I'm planning on
installing them this weekend. I need someone to send me a wiring
diagram as I'm electrically challenged. I want to use a relay, a fuse
(what size?), and hook them to the extra wires in the fairing. I am
most appreciative for any help.

I'm stilled plagued by an annoying noise, banging actually, when I'm on
rough dirt roads. The noise occures when I hit a pothole or rock at a
moderate rate of speed. It seems to be coming from the "console" that
holds the speedo/tack. I've disassembled the fairing and console and
find nothing amiss. Any thoughts?

Try taking off the tank and checking things out under there. Noises are hard to pin down so it might help to widen your scope a bit. Might have a rubber tank mount missing or...?? Good luck! __Arden Kysely> holds the speedo/tack. I've disassembled the fairing and console and > find nothing amiss. Any thoughts? > Dennis

It seems that anything loose behind the front cowling is very audible.
I had a similar problem. It turned out to be a loose screw on the
bottom of the headlight lens assembly. It held the headlight lens in
the bracket. Had to take off the cowling to get to it.
