Hey all- I just moved to a much smaller apartment so I gotta get rid of some of the parts that I have lying around so's I can walk through my kitchen/living room. Make an offer, if there is a price listed here, I am still open to offers... Buyer pays shipping. 1)Stock rear shock with ~9,000 miles on it. Very good condition overall. $50 2)Front Wheel: hub, laced rim, rotor, excellent condition (off 1991 KLR650 with less than 8,000 miles). $200 w/free used Gripster and new SKF double sealed bearings. 3)Triple clamps, top and bottom, no stems. I have three sets of these. They might be good for a project (mounting a WER steering dampener?). Price: cheap. 4)1989 KX250 (G1) front end. 45mm (?) conventional forks, hub, rotor, triple clamps, axle. In okay->good condition. The some of the mounting studs for the axle half-moon mounts are broken off. Probably want at least $100 for this. 5)1995 ATK front end. 43 mm USD WP forks, with front wheel, rotor, 4-pot caliper, Magura MC, stem, triples and axle. It looks like this is actually a KTM front end (triples have a "KTM" stamped on them). The forks are in very good condition, the tubes are smooth and scratch/dent free, the rim/hub looks to be in good condition as well... even an almost new Metlzer enduro tire mounted on it. $250 takes it. 6)Complete KLR650 front fork assemblies. I have two of these I think (perhaps three, depends on how many sets of fork tubes I have), includes inner and outer fork tube assemblies, springs (one set progressive), caps, fork spring preload shims, axle, speedo drive, dust wipers, oil seals, front caliper (no pads), master cylinder, all bushings and the big honking bolt at the bottom. One lucky buyer also has the option of getting a fork dissambly tool for FREE I would like $375 for each set (new upper tubes run $100/each). I might be willing to break apart the sets, please contact me about this. 7)Acerbis low mount front fender. White, works well, but I've got USD's on my KLR so it is now useless. Very good condition. $15 8)Daystar model 69 fork boots, for tubes 40-48mm in diameter. Like new, black color. $10 9)1995 KLX650C metric speedo/tach cluster with mounting frame in excellent condition. $100 10)1989 KX250 (G1) rear shock. good condition. $25 As I finish moving in I am sure that I'll find stuff I didn't know I had, but the large majority of my parts are front end and brake related. here is the tale of my klr adventure....i am not a thief nor a cheat...i am more like a klr philanthropist...i tried my hardest to get one more klr out on the road....but i failed....so i will sacrifice my bike....so that other klrs will have a longer life once upon a time................ so last fall i bought an a14...the guy i bought if from was summer riding from nyc to maine...he broke down in boston...tow truck took him to a service station where they discovered the cylinder head had cracked...the guy left the bike in boston to be repaired costing him over $1500 with brand new oem parts and labor....went back to boston to get bike....but it was not running smooth....left the bike with mechanics...and asked for bike to be repaired...they took engine apart in attempt to completely clean all engine parts...the mechanics wanted more money....the owner did not want to spend anymore....so the engine was placed in a couple of boxes...and the owner decided to sell bike as is...the engine is in many pieces....but the body is in great shape...i tried to get mechanic to put engine together...they wouldnt touch it for less than a thousand....and i cant find a complete engine...so i decided to part bike the end

Howdy all, I have a box of 87 parts that I got from a scrap yard. I had originally purchased them to get the rear disc set up to convert my old 86 from drum to disc, however it never happened, and I now have an 94 klx650, and none of these are of any use to me. I have a photo of them laid out. If anyone is interested, email me off list and I'll send it out. Some of the includedd parts are: rear brake (m/c, resevoir, line and caliper), rad. overflow tank, rear foot peg mounts, rad. hoses, css cover, various sprockets from cams and balancer system, wheel spacers, rear axle adjusters, various frame brackets for relays,etc., rad. cap, as well as some others. I paid 80 plus shipping a year ago, anyone interested I will take $50 and cover shipping out of that (within reason, nothing like Sri Lanka or the like please). I cannot ship these out till sat morning as I am home with a sick 2 year old and 4 year old, and can't get out til after the post office is closed. I trust most on list, so I do not mind sending them and letting payment cross in the mail if it makes anyone feel better. Let me know of any interest. Thanks Dan

I was cleaning out my garage and found some stuff that someone on the list might find useful: Motorcycle Bead Breaker - Made of cast iron. As you torque a 21mm open-end wrench on the spreader assembly the two hinge ears apply even pressure to the tire bead until it releases from the wheel. I've used this only a few times and it beats the heck out of using a C clamp or other makeshift apparatus. It comes with instructions and is in perfect shape. Chaparral Product Number: 315-0211, $35 The following were for my 1995 KLR but may fit earlier model years: Motion Pro Clutch Cable, MP 03-0204, Replaces KAW 54012-1257, brand new and unopened, $18 Kawasaki Rotor Holder Wrench, #57001-1184, perfect condition, I used it to do the balancer lever upgrade. -and- DS Sales Magneto puller bolt, 22mmx1.5, used but in excellent condition. Included with these tools are a '95 balancer spring, a '96 and later balancer spring, a '95 balancer lever and a '95 lever adjustment bolt. These engine parts are used but in great condition so maybe someone can use them as an emergency spare. $35 All of the above prices include shipping. Hey all. I have 2 parts left here I would like to see someone else use and enjoy. I have a Studebaker fork brace like new of course, black anodized...and an Odyssee PC-545 battery, both about 2 months old and used even less than that.
