I've just never understood side-hacks, a trike makes more sense to me or even a trailer. A sidecar with an experiemced driver and competent passenger, a.k.a monkey, can be a very capable machine giving plenty of stability in situations a conventioanl two wheeled rig would simply fail, i.e. sand, snow, ice, mud. A trike is just plain dangerous no matter who is at the bars. Cornering and avoidance maneuvering is all but gone with a trike were as even a mediocre hack driver can fly the car with success. I can sell side cars in good conscience. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I sold selling trikes FWIW. IMZ, the manufacturer of the Ural sidecar outfit, has just agreed to send 1500 Ural Patrols and Gear Ups (2wd sidecar machines) to Iraq for law enforcement purposes.
