strange ringing noise?

Hello KLR650 Brothers, I have this strange ringing/high pitched rattling noise when I accelerate hard in first through third gear. I thought it was a loose clutch lever pivot bolt or some loose bolts or nuts, but everything has been tightened with locktite. I have a 2006 with 2,300 miles and it runs great other than that darn riging noise when I take off hard in the lower gears. It is not a ping from what you get from low octane gasoline, it is like a high pitched ringing coming from the left side of the engine area. Any Idea's? Thanks

I have a White Power shock on my KLR 650. Rebuilt about 200 miles ago. Its a great ride on the street, but the spring is too week for dirt riding. The guy that rebuilt my shock said the stock spring should handle up to about 275#, but I bottom out on the least rough in the dirt. I weigh 250# and need a spring that will take that weight. The bike is lowered 1 1/2 inches, so that doesn't help much either. Which spring should I get? Anyone know where I can get a heavy duty spring for a lowered KLR with a large owner ?
