klr in orlando, need a rider diagnosis

Post by bigboy6969692 » Fri Oct 13, 2006 9:27 am

Hey all I just bought a KLR on ebay found here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1900372620\ 10&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AEOIBSAA%3AUS%3A31 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190037262\ 010&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3AEOIBSAA%3AUS%3A31> I am located right by University of Central Florida and am looking for a KLR rider to test ride my bike and give it a diagnosis. It makes a good amount of noise right from where the doohickey is, and also a loud clicking sound from what sounds to be around the speedometer area. Its a 1993 with 13k in great condition. Any help appreciated. Thanks -Ben [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Hi! steadengineering.com is now manufacturing alloy replacements for the black plastic 'bush' or 'guide' or 'plunger' for the bikes listed above. They are all machined form 6061 Aluminum alloy and offer a vastly improved resistance to stripping threads and otherwise snapping off when it's most inconvenient! visit the website to view your plunger application, thanks, laurie
