Alcohol and plastic often don't mix well, though Kawasaki says the KLR
will handle ethanol. As to your mileage, whatever percentage of your
gas is ethanol, figure the loss of the same percentage of typical MPG.
If it's 10% ethanol and you usually get 50MPG, expect 45MPG. My KLR
runs about 56MPG on gasoline, but 10% ethanol produces about 50MPG.
