my quick fork oil change results

Post by nakedwaterskier » Sat Jan 28, 2006 9:08 pm

I did both almost simultaneously and pushed out the fluid with compressed air via shrader valves with plugs out. Only thing to watch out for is the compressed air can really make the fork oil shoot out in a long stream and then as it is emptying atomize the fluid into a mist and you are all of a sudden in a fork oil cloud. I added 320 cc of 10 wt oil and IT WORKED GREAT. TEST ROAD AT BALLINGER CYN HIWAY 33 INLAND FROM VENTURA. I road over some radical stuff and the fork seals held and the bike road much better than stock. Jeffrey

Yup, assuming warm temperatures outside.

Yup, no differences between the 2003 and 2004. -- Blake Sobiloff http://sobiloff.typepad.com/> San Jose, CA (USA)
