stock klr & widder electric vests
Hi all,
I have a stock 2002 KLR and just purchased a Widder Electrical vest.
Is there any concern about using the vest with the stock battery and
electrical system?
I replaced my tail light bulb w/ a LED, so I am not drawing as much
power there.
Thanks
NICK

You should be fine. I used to use a vest and heated grips on my '99
with no problems, though when stuck at traffic lights I would turn off
the grips. For peace of mind, a voltmeter of some sort helps.
