nj doohickey party wtf is going on.......?

Post by bigfatgreenbike » Sat Aug 21, 2004 12:55 pm

OK, with all the talk and no decisions being made I say we all qualify for administrative positions in local government. This is very silly. Tomorrow is Sunday, 8/22. I have family coming into town, but am totally willing to get up at the crack of ass, ride out to Metuchen to collect my doohickey tools, then ride to whoever is hosting the party and help out until 10:00AM or so. Next Sunday I will still have family around, and might be able to do the same early Sunday thing. If I can't make next Sunday, anyone who can get to Metuchen on Wednesday night can borrow the tools. Where, when, who, and how do I get there? Devon Brooklyn

need input on seat rebuild shape

Corbin is known for their "flat" seat for the KLR, but they make another (the original I think) for the KLR I think its called the dished seat. The dished seat is narrow in the front and lower, then the seat pan spreads out as you move back on the seat, this gives some crossover comfort by sliding forword on the seat in the dirt and then sliding back on the seat. I have tried both and like the dished one best as I'm short 5'4" and the flat seat doesn't allow me to comfortably reach the ground in the front seat position. Maybe that shape idea will help with your seat project. JH
