klr 650 vs 400s?

KLR More comfortable, much more stretched out ergos and an infinitely better stock seat for the road. Much bigger gas capacity. Will need beefing up for serious bashing offroad, amounts to a few hundred bucks, not a lot of money really. More practical allrounder, will get more comfort per use. DRZ Feels like sitting on a split-rail fence. Excruciating to sit on unless you weigh 80lbs. Tiny gas tank, will need to be upgraded for desert ops. More snap to the motor, more dirt oriented powerband and much better suspension than the KLR. Will likely also need a few things to beef it up, though maybe not as many? The geometry and weight will make it more squirrely at highway speeds. Supermoto bolt-on kits are available for the DRZ.... that could be fun.

Because we are stupid pig heads in the states thats why...... We refuse to use that strange and silly metric system... We prefer fractions and thousands and hundreds as measurements.... Why would we want to use something that is so easy as the Metric system ? Considering back in grade school.. ummm 30some years ago, we were taught metric in couple hours then struggled with SAE measurments the rest of our freaking LIVES !! Dooden (Likes Metric) A15 Green Ape (Also likes metric)
