electric start for klr 250 ?

I broke my clutch lever, and installed a new one. Now it appears that the clutch interlock switch is not working (can't start the bike). I have ead the posts on how to byppass this switch, but I would like to know how to adjust it. It seems simple enough, and I just screwed the whole assembly back into place without seeing any real "adjustment" opportunities. How is it adjusted ? Maybe I just got some dirt in there ? any help appreciated. A17
