nklr: backpack lesson

Post by sheldon weaver » Thu Jun 12, 2003 2:12 pm

while we are on the subject of backpacks: if you find yourself wearing one with a double zipper, make sure that you close them on one side and not the upper middle. while having the zipper closed at top dead center may satisfy your symetrical tendicies, after a few vibrating miles you may find that your backpack contents have been liberated. sheldon a15, lancaster/philly, pa --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Last book read: "Celtika"(I can't remember the author). Very good, about Merlin's early life. I'm a big science fiction reader: Heinlein,Vance,Brin,Farmer,David Drake,Greg Keyes, etc. "adventure fiction" by Robert B. Parker, David Morrell, Clive Cussler, etc. I don't often read non-fiction, but I am now reading a history of the Soviet prison system," Gulag", by Anne Applebaum. BEAN
