nklr sturgis?
Newbie biker thinking of doing Sturgis (finally
starting to trust my motorcycle outside of AAA
 range)

The only thing that interests me about Sturgis is
 photographic possibilities (semi-professional
photographer). Would Sturgis be fun on a
Japanese bike? Everything I see on the discovery
channel makes it look like a Harley festival.

Will they eat a KLR650 rider alive?

I didn't have any problems on my GoldWing two years ago. There are enough non-Harley bikes that you won't feel totally lost in the crowd. Jeff Jefferson City, MO '99 KLR650>Will they eat a KLR650 rider alive?![]()

Yup, that's what it was - the VISA credit card. I just got off the phone with a nice woman at the bank - there were no hitches or glitches, and within a few minutes she called back within a few minutes with an approval number. I've never done a deposit in this way, and specifically asked if there might be any kind of confirmation of the transaction available... Once again for those who'd like to do it this way: City National bank # 1-866-385-3444 Account #7121151 Account Name: Sharon Gay They asked for the account number & name, standard CC info, my SSAN, and home phone. When she called back with the approval number, she also asked for my address. I don't know if she just forgot the first time, or if I seemed like a shady character and she wanted more information on me! Gee, I hope that whole criminal warrant thing doesn't come up again... If you don't get a response, please try: KLR6500@...> What the lady told me was that I could use a credit card but not > my Visa debit. OK, I pulled out my Master Card but she said that she'll > only take a Visa credit card. I gave up and sent a check.
