I was thinking about getting one also but after getting tips from some
people here on the list of the proper way to use the tire irons to do
this I was able to do it also in just a few minutes. I also demonstrated
this last weekend in Oklahoma at the end of Ok88 where we run into a guy
on an F650 with a really hot, flat back tire. An Avon 34 Gripster Belted
if I remember right.
Force the tire irons in and pull back against the rim using both tools
togethier. A gap will soon appear. Just keep at it and the bead will
break and your home free. One of the guys had one of the large
beadbreakers which works with bolts and a c=clamp type thing that sells
for about 40 bucks I think. But we didn't need it . This time anyway.
Now, I have not tried that out on my BMW R11R's Tubeless tire yet.

Valves at the loose end of spec give more grunt down low at the cost
of a little top end. Tight valves give more top end but you lose a
little grunt....
