No, but I HAVE considered making them for my rear fender, a la 60's Cadillac. Just don't stand too close when I'm driving by or you might get sliced in half. Mark B2 A2 A3>Have you considered making a SharkFin for the >front end of the KLR ?

Taking out the bolt and spring doesn't release the rachet. The spring just keeps pressure on the rachet to keep the slack out of the cam chain. From what you describe, you should be okay. Steve A11
