Ha! I used to never get passed in traffic too. My driving motto (when
I was younger, stupider and more daring) was: Pass
everyone you see, and don't let anyone pass you.
But this didn't mean driving like an a**hole, or blocking people, or
taking huge risks. It simply meant keeping up a healthy speed, and
slowly reeling in every car and bike on the highway. Just go slightly
faster then everyone else. If a crazy bastard came along going much
faster then me, well, I'd let him go of course. Helped me avoid
tickets.
I usually got where I needed to go pretty quickly, and surprisingly
didn't get that many speeding tickets.
Now I ride pretty mellowly, except on the rare occaision when I
borrow my buddies Gixxer 1000, or Hayabusa, or whatever the latest
hardware that he has. I defy anyone to resist twisting the throttle
on an open stretch of highway while on one of those bikes. Its fun!
