waving

Post by aches@deltech.net » Sat Jun 17, 2000 12:44 pm

Well, on this last round trip to Arkansas, I passed many riders and maybe only a few didn't wave back. Ran across a big outing of bikes, mostly cruisers, and I don't think any of them or their passengers missed waving at me. Seem Like I had my left hand up in the air for 5 minutes. This was coming down US 389 in the Ozarks in Oklahoma. Neat road by the way. The purpose of the trip was to finish running the TAT Trail section In Arkansas. The Western part of that trail is just awesome. Even gets pretty techo in spots. But gotta master that before going on to the larger hills in Colorado and Utah. ;^).... Trip puter 1 st day. Trip ometer = 521 Trip time = 9.51 Avg. speed = 52.9 Max speed = 83.3 2 nd day Trip ometer = 724 Trip time = 12:38 Avg speed = 49.4 Max speed = 83.5 Ometer = 1244.88 I was averaging about 32 mph on the trail itself the higher average comes with the long highway run from Jennings, Louisiana to Northern Arkansas. -- Best Regards & Happy Trails Andy Chesley @ 57 and ticking Y2KLR650 @ 5.4K sMiles 97 R11RA (Amiga) @ 14K Miles So Many Roads, So Little Time http://members.deltech.net/aches/

Would it help if she talked with a Newport hanging outta her mouth with WAAAAAAY to much blue make-up on and lived in a trailer and watched Nascar, had Nastycar stickers all over her 86' Trans-Am, and could take any "professional" WWF Wrestler in a cage match ????? At least you would have somebody to hold the bike up when changing a flat.... ;-) Duden
