no vibration

I just put a new set of handlebars on. Steel - no cross bar. This time I filled them with lead shot. I also have bar end weights. I installed a set of soft 'dual sport' grips. The result over the stock bars was amazing. There is now virtually no felt vibration - just a very slight thruming. Minnesota Louie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Don't forget AMA's Motow rider assistance plan. If you're an AMA member, for an extra $25/year, you can sign-up for this motorcycle specific roadside assistance plan. The April 2001 edition of "Motorcycle Consumer News" had good things to say about it. A rider assistance plan might not do you much good if you're, say, down on the Baja peninsula somewhere. But, it offers some comfort if you're anywhere near civilization. I understand Kawasaki uses the same provider as AMA Motow. However, I believe, you have to join Kawasaki's GTOC for $495 to get it.
