crashed klr ... need help with repairs
Hey listers. I crashed my 84KLR600 on Monday night. I was cruising along in
the ditch beside the highway doing about 60km or so and hit a trench that
some farmer decided to build (youch) . Anyways doing 60-0 in half a second
didn't do much for me or the bike. I got knocked out but managed to start
the bike and ride home 50kms down the highway (don't ask me how).
When I got home my wife called an ambulance and off I went to the hospital.
After about 4 hours I was free with some major bruising and a nice gash in
my chin but otherwise ok.
The bike looks ok but the front tire is no where near straight. Just
wondering where to start ? I'm thinking of loosening off the triple clamps
and the axle and see if I can straighten it out that way. Is there a certain
order I should do this in ?? Also, what is the best way to see if the fork
tubes are bent or not ??
Thanks in advance,
Gord Hunt

You would have to relocate to pickup coil in the alternator case. Mister_T> How hard is it if it can ?
