Move to Cuba. They have very few cars, and hardly any rich people. No corporate profits to worry about either. Your just living in the wrong country. -----Original Message----- From: MSchue5938@... I know I won't. However, I might enjoy it a bit more with less government, and a bit more spending cash in my pocket. If you want to pursue an eco-friendly life, go ahead. More power to you. If you resent business, that's your right. However I think it is better to educate people than condemn them arbitrarily. This kind of "I can shout louder than you" attitude has no place in today's society. It's childish, annoying, and frustrating. Maybe Bush's agenda of personal accountability rather than governmental parenting will be a good thing. I hope so. The government isn't our Mom and Dad... As an immigrant, I can honestly say I am proud to be an American today. Not as an Anglo-American, Euro-American, or Anything-American, just a plain old American citizen. There is no better place in the world to live for me and mine. After this messy election and the circus that followed, I reckon we can give the President-elect a chance before we condemn the poor bastard.... CA Stu

Not to get embroiled in the political debate, but just a couple of points. *Bush legitimately won the election. It was in essence a tie, and Bush had all the tie-breakers on his side. *Bush did not get a majority of the popular vote. The public showed deep ambivalence about both candidates and neither would be able to claim an outpouring of support. *Roughly 23 percent of American registered voters voted for Bush. (But hey, only 23.1 percent voted for Gore.) A president who ignores these facts will find himself serving a single term in office. Ralph Ralph E. Hanson 99 KRL 650 http://www.wvu.edu/~journal2

Nobody knows the answer to that one! There were 1,000,000 absentee military ballots in California which were not counted. They traditionally go 65 to 70% Republican. They weren't counted because Gore won the state by more than 1,000,000 votes. BUT had they been counted Bush could have easily gained the popular advantage. There's really too many cases like this to say one candidate did or did not get the popular vote. It was a good complaint for the Democrats so they could keep counting, and counting, and counting...................

What does Yahtzee mean? How can I get into and argument about it if I don't know what it is. Is it a Nazi that's also a Yahoo? Bogdan
