riding in hawaii

HI SCOT- I am a flight attendant based in LA and I spend layovers in Honolulu. My KLR is here but I would like to rent a bike in Honolulu. It's cool riding here, one of these days I'm going to ride with the Cal Posse as soon as I get through this work crunch. -Jennifer

thanks to all for the help. i think i'm just about ready to roll tonight. the hardware store across the street doesn't seem to have any relays, so i'll stop by an auto parts place or radio shack in the next few days and ask for a 12v relay that'll handle 15 amps or so. what about grounding the circuit? will the running light ground wire get cooked if i use it? should i just hook up to any convenient frame screw, or figure out where something else is grounded? (fan or headlight or sumtin'?) mw
