[dsn_klr650] electrex warning update

Post by Dash Weeks » Thu Aug 03, 2000 3:35 pm

Some sad news.... It's my wiring and not the regulator. I put the stock Reg on for a short test and ...... well I get the exact same numbers as I did with the Electrex Unit. I don't have an explanation yet but I hope to figure out a fix tonight. I can't imagine what it could be though I haven't hardly done anything to my bike :) LaterZ Dash

RE: Re: Just sleazy NKLR: You guys are killing me here...! Steve, you're killing me here! LOL! You guys probably already covered this ground, but being on digest I'm behind the times so to speak. My recommendations would be to now focus on your attire and look, as Steve pretty much covered it for the bike. I think you have to consider this look as appropriate: Yuppie credit card type with brand spanking new do I look like a bad boy outfit but I'm really a middle manager lackey in some anonymous company (no offense to mid managers, been there done that myself :^) look. Featured attire would be leather chaps, black vest or jacket, black half helmet, cool guy shades, black boots, did I mention that they all have to be brand new. "Oh is that a bug on my new vest?" Ed - who actually would like to own a Harley but I think I have to wait till they're out of fashion, and who looks like a knuckle head tooling down the highway on his KLX, at 6'6" its the Magilla Gorilla look for me, but I don't care 'cause I'm lovin' life on my bike! - Boyd Duvall, WA '96 KLX 650 R '82 Katana 1000 ps: I always wave to everyone, and have nothing against other riders, just love to poke fun... > Message: 3 >    Date: Wed, 2 Aug 2000 16:32:36 -0700 >    From: "Steve Anderson" > Subject: Re: Just sleazy  NKLR > > This is easy: > > > Replace the whole exhaust with a piece of chromed pipe (no muffler). > > Get rid of the air filter, this will help make it sound much nicer
