My new rear tire came today.
Although I ordered it from Binghamton (NY) Honda, it came directly from
Western Power Sports in Idaho via UPS.
It looks just like the KT966 pictured on their website but the tire model is
not molded into the tire anywhere.
There is just a little sticker attached to the wrapping that tells what
model it is.
It is "S" and DOT rated and says on the sidewall, "made in China", "mold
from Japan", "specially made for hot weather, "load range C", 6 ply
rating, and "reinforced".
For whatever all that is worth.
It does look like a very sturdy tube type tire.
Thanks.

kings kt966
I forgot to mention that there is NO direction arrow on this tire.
But if I stand back a little and stare at it, I detect a vee pattern in the
lugs.
Anybody have any input on which way to mount it?
Thanks.

Don't overlook the starter 'enricher' operation (eh, Kurt).
Check out Ron's excellent CV carb primer at:

Standard idle speed is 1300 rpm (+/- 100rpm).
