[dsn_klr650] fan stayed on - flat battery ... thanks all

Thanks to everyone that has offered advice on my constantly running fan=flat battery problems . I have a leave day today so i'll see if i can re-create the problem and find the cause. Whilst i'm typing - Does anyone know of a replacement rear mudguard (fender?) for a 1987 model. I know it may sound odd but i really think that the standard one looks very 'boxy' and ugly. I'm quite happy to do without the rack (i use a rucksack) so wonder if rear fender from a KLX650 might fit. -- Andy - Southampton,UK '87 KLR650
