(nklr) harley non-wavers

Post by Denzfeat@aol.com » Sun Jun 18, 2000 7:23 am

I rode my Buell the other day Right down the old highway, Fastest Harley ever made Right in the USA; The seat is small and it is hard And it makes me kind of sore, But not as much as those Harley guys Who don't wave at me no more. The Beemer guys might nod a bit, They're dignified and cool; Gold-Wingers flash a big thumbs-up While grinnin' like a fool. Ducati guys will jump and shout While blasting by full-bore, But forget about those Harley guys Who don't wave at me no more. Milwaukee makes my engine And East Troy makes my frame, My forks are Jap, as are my brakes My wheels have Italian names; But my heart is pure, I'm Yankee-born And I don't want to be a bore, But those Harley guys on their shiny rides Don't wave at me no more. Pete the Poetic Streak (Past, present and future Harley rider, wave when I feel like it at at anyone and anything.)

kids?

I am very new to motorcycling. I have been riding a year. I almost bought a klr but I decided that since most of my riding was on the street I would get a NightHawk 750. I love it and I ride it to work quite often. Price of gas you know is much to high to drive the truck. Well, here is my question I am thinking about buying a klr next fall. I would like to get my son a motorcycle as well. The goal is to take him to moab. How old does a boy need to be before he can ride at moab? My boy is 5. I was think when he gets a little older I would get him a XR100 or something like that so he and I could ride moab. Kyle S Enlow http://php.indiana.edu/~kenlow
