Finally, a reprieve from the heat started with a short rain shower at Thursday's dinner in the park. Great food and good company to boot. What a treat to finally meet listers from around the continent. Here's a shot from the reception at McStiff's of Fireball Stu, Kurt Simpson and Verle Nelson. Redondo Ron

Hey Thanks Ron..there are those among us who are sitting in offices right now wishing we could be having some fun in Moab....so keep the reports coming...now, what happened with all the guys who crashed out on the Lasal Mountain ride? We're all hanging about with baited breath, hoping to hear more "dirt" on the dirt

That was true.....  I got my neighbor to go rescue the KLR from the killer Hogback. Thanks Jim!!!  Todd was planning to ride it back to California today, sprained ankle and all.  I wish him well.     For all those concerned with Mariola, she has left Moab today.   There are many rally goers still here.     Fred

There was a fellow named Todd trying to find a cage ride back to CA yesterday. I wonder if he had success. Someone later told me his KLR is at the top of Murphy's Hogback waiting rescue...true?
