Just wanted to mention, that a couple months back I did some poking around on the net to find out how Snell tests their helmets. They have a very informative site; http://www.smf.org It goes into good detail on how they test, how DOT tests and even state that if a helmet is Snell rated, it is automatically DOT certified as well, since Snell certifies at higher levels of pass/fail.
