year, With a bike under one year - if you melted the panel because you were using kawi soft luggage "engineered" for your KLR, you will get your side panel covered under warranty. Longer if you have the extended... You could probably still do it with a throw-over bag 'other' than the kawi if the design and dimensions are similar - but your argument will be stronger if the whole combo was kawi. Cheers, Arne

scottoiler drip flow adjustments

Post by Gary Randall » Mon May 22, 2000 12:27 am

Hello, I just installed a Scottoiler System on my KLR. I know that at full clockwise position that is the Priming Position. But it doesn't tell me from what point on that the flow rate increases. Does the oil flow rate increase, from the Priming Position, as you turn the adjustment knob counter-clockwise OR do you turn the knob all the way to the the counter-clockwise stop position and then begin turning the knob clockwise to increase flow? Now to I have everyone confused? Tell me please. Of course I know that engine vacuum and air/engine temp plays a role in oil drip rate of the oiler. thanks gary a14 ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
