I'm looking at getting a set of saddlebags and the one that keeps topping my short list right now is the Chase Harper Aeropac 3500's. My only fear is they may be too big since I'll also be using them in conjunction with Aerostitch tank panniers, Kawi tank bag and most likely a dry duffle on the rear rack (dry duffle carries tent, sleeping bag, tools, tubes, etc). Ultimate water proofness is not a concern to me. The Ortleibs are #2 on my list but the Chase bags are $30 cheaper and I like Chase's no hassle lifetime guarantee. Comments? Thanks!
