I have enjoyed some of the joking that has taken place on this site, and
a little badinage is very acceptable. Viv, for instance, has been the
source of many a smile from me at his usually successful attempts at
"stirring the pot".
However, downright insults are not acceptable, and when they come from
would-be comedians who wouldn't know a tongue in cheek remark if it hit
them in the face, that's enough. I cannot program my browser to do it
automatically, but when I see the word 'badger', that's when I hit the
delete button.
Can't we get along?

thought that anyone could see that its tongues firmly implanted in cheeks at
