Moss Oil Seal

I had the Moss Seal installed two years ago.It was a disaster. After
only a few hundred miles, during which a leak of about the same as
before the the seal was evident, we drove to the GOF West at Monterey
(from Vancouver) and the floodgates opened. About a litre of oil per 200
miles and a puddle from the split pin the size of a pie when at rest for
2 or 3 hours.It was not a seal it was a pump.I hadn't heard of the Chev
seal so we contacted Bob Schaple in AU and got one of his
seals.Installed it a year ago and in about 2000 miles not a drop.IT
