{mg-tabc}listers ages

I have been patiently waiting for this thread to play itself out, hoping
that someone on the list would list an age that was not less than mine.
It appears that this is not to be. Being the oldest anything is akin to
winning a competition to see who could lean the furthest from anupstairs
window!
However, in June I shall possibly be the only lister that is a true
Octagonarian !
I can t claim any early start to my MG activities, or indeed any
automobile, as my early years were tied up in that WW2 business. I have
owned my TC since 1963, but didn t get it on the road until about 1980.
Since then, I've had a great time. I have attended all the recent GoF
West get-togethers, several involving three and four thousand mile
round trips. Next week I m off to Scotland to navigate and sight see in
a couple of rallies, the Caledonian, and the St. Bees to St. Abbs.
Then back home in June for this years Gof West at San Marcos.
I do enjoy everything and everybody on the list, but would just like to
remind all that all this is a fine hobby, but not worth getting mad and
losing sleep over.
