Front Axle Beam

Upon careful inspection of our '39 TB front axle beam, I noticed some rather
concerning items.
First, both of the holes for the king pin bolts (the tapered pins that lock
the king pins in place) look like something between an egg shape or a rather
poor figure "8" shape. Here in Texas we say the holes are completely
"wallered out".
Second, on both sides of the beam in the center, just above the leaf spring
mounting locations the metal looks rather wrinkled and cracked, much like
those laugh lines near your eyes that strike in the mid-thirties. I was
planning to get it magnafluxed, but wonder if it is even worth the effort.
Has anyone else out there seen this and what was the fix?
Thanks,
Bill Gardner
