Advice Sought - Purchase of Hood, Tonneau etc...
Seeing that there is still some talk about stitches and the like...
While I may be, unfortunately, a few months away from needing, for my rebuild in progress, a hood, tonneau or half tonneau, I would love to get any advice that any of you could provide as to where to purchase these. I have to buy at least a hood and half tonneau but there a quite a few places which sells them. There appears to be a bit of choice of material as well. I am not sure which material would be best, my understanding is that the colour of some materials fade worse than others and shrinkage should also be considered. My TC is a late model one so the colour (tan) will not be an issue. I bought an interior from Collingburn in England and it looks great..I note he sells hood etc...
And re my last question about a source for over .080 pistons from a couple months ago....Skip had a set in stock. The machine shop advised me today that these pistons were successfully transplanted into my motor. Thanks Skip.
